The beautiful red-vented cockatoo was at one time widely distributed across the Philippine islands. Today, its estimated that as few as 1000 birds remain in the wild. Preservation measures are well underway to save this lovely species from extinction. We handmade this replica using metal, crystal and enamel as a loving tribute to this gentle and sacred bird.
