The Vaquita is an extremely rare dolphin found only in the northern section of the Sea of Cortez in Baja California. Estimates show that as few as 100 remain in the wild and serious preservation measures are under way. This trinket box hopes to heighten awareness of this gentle endangered dolphin so in the hopes they will ultimately be saved.
